The Barack Obama Con Job

(October 10, 2008) Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt issued the following statement on news reports of Barack Obama's
use of Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics:
"St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police-state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign. What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment. This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson." (See full __LongTerm__
In addition to the above, there are mounting negative reports on Barack Obama. They include:

It's mind-boggling enough to think there is anyone in this country who is willing to vote for Obama, it's even harder to understand how Obama ever reached the 50% mark in polls.

Submitted by admin on Sun, 10/12/2008 - 18:13.The United States is in dire peril and not from the financial shakedown, but from the two Senators vying for what may well be the final Presidency of the country. The problem is that neither man has what is going to be required to stop the world's greatest power from being brought to its knees. And when the mighty are fallen everybody comes to the party and take a swipe and a kick.
Sen. John McCain has selected a running mate who will give him a better chance of winning the Presidential election, and that kind of decision-making can destroy a country purely by its short-term advantage. You may win a pawn or two with such finesse, but it is the kind of strategy that often loses the game.
Sen. Barack Obama selected the best possible potential Vice-President, but his overall immaturity, as demonstrated in his past decisions and his future proposals for the country, can only spell total disaster. His youth and inexperience together with his propensity to be easily led are not leadership qualities.
